How do i enable sending of referrers?

  • I have just had one of my friends help me install WordPress on my site & i’m playing around with it but can’t seem to be able to install plug-ins or delete blog entries etc, keep getting the ‘enable sending of referrers’ message. Using Microsoft Explorer.

  • No Podz, I havenot solved the problem yet. I’ve now got the problem on 2 blogs.

    Where do I find the “line 460” that anonymous jon was referring to? When I look on my server, WP has dozens of files, in many folders, and I have no idea where to look.

    ZoneAlarm is not the problem Mac.

    Yes, you have said that before, but have to you actually tried turning it off? If you haven’t, take a few seconds to disable it and check your blog. If you have, then just say so. This is called “troubleshooting”, it involves the elimination of all possible suspects until the actual problem is found.

    Mac, yes I turned off Zonealarm and it made no difference. I should have been clearer earlier, I’m sorry.

    I discovered one of the hassles of “sending referrers” tonight… I made a double posting to my blog, and when I tried to delete one , my friend “sending referrers” stopped me.
