How do I find my theme directory?

  • Hi, I want to add a child theme so I can centre the header on my site but I don’t know where/how to locate my theme directory. codex.www.ads-software.com says they’re in “wp-content/themes” but I don’t know where that is.

  • wp-content is in the root directory of your WordPress installation. It’s one of the first folders you find when accessing your WordPress installation on the server using an FTP programme.
