the crawl tells me I have 165 internal no follow links

i am so a novice at this. i’m trying to save our business. we have dropped drastically on Google. And I know some of these things are probably not real major and can be fixed easily. I need help!

In that last page, there’s only one link ( https://www.thecleanupguys.com/contact-us/ ) that’s specific to that page and it is does not include any rel="nofollow".

Ditto for the 3 links on the first page – although the first two open in a new page/tab which is considered bad practice generally.

Are you sure that this “no follow” isn’t just a setting within your crawler? My preferred link checker tool allows me to set filters for links to “ignore”. Perhaps your crawler is the same?

I have according OnPage.org, those 165 no follows

2 broken redirects

4 blocked CSS files

3 blocked javascript files

21 redirects to other subdomains

13 non-indexable in sitemap

Whew!

Is this fixable? Can I do it myself? Or am I really going to need a lot of help..at this

I think you’ll need to tackle each one of these issues separately. With regard to the first & the last two, I’d recommend downloading and using Xenu’s Link Sleuth. It’s a little long in the tooth now but it just works perfectly in rooting out broken links – both internal and external.

The blocked files may take a little more digging. I’ve never used OnPage.or but it could be that these files are just being denied to the crawler rather than having any impact on Google or other site visitors. Check your robots.txt and .htaccess files to see if any blocks have been added.
