    how can i change: 2/13/2004 to: 02.13.04 ?

    Options/Other options/date_format and change n/j/Y to m.d.y

    There are a number of ways to format the date. You can visit this Wiki page which gives a basic example and points you to a link with a whole pile of other ways to format dates via PHP.
