How do I get back to 3.4?

  • Upgrading to 3.5 has caused a number of things on my site to stop working. (I can’t create/edit links, widgets are gone and new ones can’t be created, I can’t update sliders as there is no way to “publish”, etc.)

    I receive a weekly backup in sql.gz format. Following instructions I found on this board I extracted an update file from two weeks ago and uploaded using PHPMyadmin. It seemed to upload/complete fine but when I logged back into WP I got a message that the database needed to be updated to version 3.5.

    All things considered I’d rather just revert back to 3.4. Is there a way to do this?
