• I was facing this memory allocation problem ,So i got it done by editing php.in . but in that hustle i by mistake deleted my wp-config and i guess i have even goofed with .htaccess

    Now memory allocation prob is solved.
    bt when i when to my website it asked to 1step of WordPress installation,
    so i edit wp-config n feed in my old database user name and password
    and now when login into to my word-press am getting complete new blog with none my old content css nothing, i switched to my old theme still all contents n images are missing
    still they are there on server , i access them with ftp

    what should i do now to get my old site back please help.

  • are they listed in the admin area under pages/posts?

    if not, it sounds like it flushed the database, which would mean that the only way to get the content back would be to restore the data from a backup (hopefully your hosting company does backups)

    nope its not there, i have accessed my database through my host and its does show tables and space used up as well as there tables where which are having similar names to that of my some posts headings..
    isnt there any way to get the contents back manually.. to the website
    because on the server i have whole contents there, unaltered. In-fact i have download my public html file to my laptop before
    only thing i messed up is with wp-config or .htaccess and that’s why am facing these issue
