How do I get rid of annoying text at bottom of my header image?

  • Here is what the problem is:

    There is a strip of text at the bottom of my header image that is prompting me to create a menu. I have created menus which don’t appear on my blog anywhere but that annoying bit of text is still there. How do I get rid of the text?

    As for your specific issue, the simplest way to remove that text is to assign a menu by going to your Dashboard and navigating to Appearance > Menus. From there, select the tab marked “Manage Locations”, and then select a menu from the dropdown box.
