How do I get rid of boxes in the side bar?

  • I am trying to delete the “pages”. “blogroll”, “Meta”, “Category’s” widgets in my cordobo theme. In the admin it does not give me an opportunity to remove the widgets and I am stumpted.

  • “Appearance” -> “widgets” and then delete them doesn’t work?
    If these elements are hardcoded, you need to edit the sidebar.php.
