How Do I Get Rid Of Comment /Reply Box On Page

  • I just installed wordpress and set it as a static website as opposed to a blog. But I cant get rid of the reply comment box. Im using the celestial aura theme. There must be a way to get rid of the box.

    Again while setting up wordpress as a website i effectively ended up with two home pages. The default home page and the first page i made myslef which i titled welcome. Both buttons are next to each other in the header buttons but open same page-the static front page. How do I edit/delete the defaul home page or at hide it somehow.

    take a bit of time to get familiar with all the settings and options in the dashboard.

    get rid of the reply comment box

    you can disable comments general and per post/page using dashboard settings – the forum is full with general answers to that problem.

    two home pages

    depends on the used theme – post a link to your site, or at least post the name of your theme.
