How do I get rid of the Search-bar in the menu (TwentyEleven-theme)

Try the CSS:

#searchform {
display: none;
}

It worked – thanks a lot ?? But it also created another question: How do I get the menu points spread over the entire width of the menu bar? It looks as if the system still leaves room for the deleted search bar?

}

A correction: It works in Google Chrome, but it doesn’t work in Mozilla Firefox.

Strange. I use Firefox on Win10 and it works for me now when I visit the page and refresh everything with ctrl-F5.
