How do I get the "Settings" menu in my version

  • My version of WordPress is missing the “Settings” menu option on the left hand side. I need to reset my permalinks.

  • Are you logged in as a “admin” user? Only Admin users can see the settings page.
    If so, try to disable all Plugins.
    If this also does not solve the problem: switch to a different theme, maybe there is a function that hides the settings page.

    You can also try open “yoururl.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php” so you will access the permalink Page directly. (only works if you are allowed to do.)
