How do I get to work in creating a WP Post?

  • I am using the newest version of WP and trying to put a blog post on my site that includes 2 images. I want a blank line between the 2 images and I have added

    to the TEXT editing page, when I preview the post there is no blank line between the 2 images.

    When I try to use a “hard return” in the Visual editor, the cursor just moves down the left side of the images and does not put a blank line between the 2 images.

    Can someone tell me how to put a blank line between my 2 images in my blog post?

    Sorry, my posit above treated the 2 br tags as HTML and put a blank line in between. How do I get this to work on my blog post?

    The above should have said:” I am using the newest version of WP and trying to put a blog post on my site that includes 2 images. I want a blank line between the 2 images and I have added the HTML tag br/ and then another HTML br/ tag to the TEXT editing page, when I preview the post there is no blank line between the 2 images.”
