How Do I Hide Selected Pages?

Hi. I have a website with several pages, a few of which are now obsolete. But I don’t want to delete them. I just want to hide them, because I’ll use them again later, with new dates and other new info. I have looked all over the place and can’t find any way to do this. I looked in Appearance/Menus, and the only option was to delete the page. I changed the visibility to Private, and nothing happened. I looked on the support forum and could only find out how to delete all pages, and I only want to delete some. Can someone help me? Thank you.
