How do I import a blog using the RSS feed?

So if I can find the RSS feed link for her blog and paste it into my browser, it will give me a copyable document that I can then copy & paste into a file and save that can then be uploaded to WP? (Forgive my ignorance, but I am just not quite getting it). So it would look something like my RSS feed URL https://lastshredsofsanity.com/feed?

What would the RSS feed for the comments look like and would it be the same procedure?

I found the RSS feed, but when I paste it into my browser, it gives me a page to add it to my Goggle reader.

I read that, Sam. But am I to just put the URL of the RSS feed in a file or get the XML or data file of the feed? THAT is what I am confused about.
And am unsure how to do. I found some RSS feed converters on the web, but all it does is convert the RSS URL into java script or an HTML code that you can add to your blog to have that feed show up. I need an actual data file, correct?

Go to her feed link.
Right-click on the page and “View Source”
Select all, Copy.
Create a new text document, paste in the contents and give it a useful name.
Go to the WordPress import and feed it that file.

Do you mean right click on her BLOG page and view source or the RSS feed link? (I’m sorry, I’m just not understanding this. If I paste the RSS feed URL into my browser, I get redirected to a page to add it to my Google Reader.)

If it is simply right clicking on her blog page, viewing source and copying that, I feel like a complete idiot.

That page. Viewing source should show you a bunch of XML. That’s the raw feed.

Ok, I just tried it. I did get a bunch of XML. I copied and pasted it into a text document. Then I uploaded that file to my test blog. It took two seconds and then it said “have fun”. I checked, but there is nothing imported.

Nothing. I am wondering if there is a problem because what I uploaded was the Google Reader page that gives you the choice “add to home page” or “add to Google Reader”. I thought about trying to extract her “parts” from the view source file of my actual reader (with her feed up), but am not sure.

Is there any way to maybe use the CSV file from her feedburner?

And I just checked my error log in my Cpanel and it’s blank.

Any more ideas about how I can get the raw RSS feed? PLEASE? I am STUMPED.
