How can I import a Blogger XML file in WP 3.0?

There used to be an option under tools >>> Import >>> Blogger, but since the upgrade to 3.0 it is not found.

I have searched plugins, the codex, nothing tells me how to do it in 3.0. Please help? My original blogger import back in January did not bring over all of my posts and I keep getting hits for posts that go 404 on my WP blog.

Upgrade to WordPress 3.0.1, then try the import again.

So the option of using an XML file is back with the newest upgrade? I’ll go check it out.

The XML file option is still not available.

    What happened to it?

Go to Tools/Import in your admin panel, click “Blogger,” and click “Install Now” when prompted to install the Blogger importer.

But the option to use a Blogger XML file for import is no longer there. Unless I’m blind.

    As Salam u Alaikum
You can now import and export your entire blog and comments as an XML file that WordPress.com will generate for you. You’ll find the export and import options not under “Manage” but now under “Tools” in your blog admin area. The XML format is an extended version of RSS 2.0, and it will be built into the next downloadable release of WordPress (3.2).
So go to “Tools” in your blog admin area and select “install rss”
That is the solution of your Q
    Wassalam
