How do I import existing customers and keys to a new website?

I created a new website for a client, based on their old one’s wordpress installation copied to a staging area.. While I had been working on it in a staging area, their current site accumulated some orders. If they try to import them into the staging area the key gets updated to a new key. We want the key to stay the same. I was told to move the theme files into the old site, but the scope of the work was more than just restyling it. I need to know how to move the customer database from the live site into the staging site without the keys getting messed up. Does anyone know the exact steps to do this?
