  • I set the pictures as a “featured image”. Bottom right of page. They end up as a set width, with depth variable depending on the original proportions of the image. So not a thumbnail as such.

Actually I do see the thumbnails on my wordpress panel/Event Manager panel in the back end, but that is not what I mean.

I mean on the front end viewed by visitors.
The EVENTS page where ALL the events are listed as demonstrated at: https://wp-events-plugin.com/ under the slide/picture with the title FLEXIBLE EVENT LISTS

angelo…, thanks for the “snippet,” although I am sorry I am not sure what to do or how to use the “snippet” you suggested.
I am still new at wordpress. I built with frontpage for over 12 years and just recently moved to wordpress.

see the first two lines, they tell you where to paste the following code in your settings page.

    Hi Marcus,
I placed the codes but I did not see any pictures or thumbnails.
Instead the list seemed jumbled together.
Since there was no specific instruction on how to go about this, I tried two ways (1) pasting the codes under the codes already there in the “Default event list format header,” box and (2) completely replacing the old codes with the new one from the snippet.
    yet, no luck.

Did you use it in Settings > Formatting > Events Format? That’s where it needs to go.

Yes, I went like this, to:
EVENTS – SETTINGS – FORMATTING – EVENTS – Events Page – Default event list format header

Under Formatting, there is no option specifically saying “Events Format”
What I see is “Events” under which there is “Events Page”

The only other usage of “Event” I see under Formatting are “Event categories” and “Event Tags” which are further down the page.

yes it’s on Events > Settings > Formatting > Events > Default event list format; use placeholder #_EVENTIMAGE
