How do I insert a Youtube video in my blog?

i’m not interested in a plugin right now. i’ve read though the threads, but no one has posted specific directions to adding video.

um . . . the plugin allows you to add the video. No muss, no fuss. Why wouldn’t you want that?

i don’t know, i guess cuz i’m an idiot. hmmm…

i haven’t worked with plug ins before so i’ll give it a try. thanks.

And to sum up the other thread that aren’t about the plugin approach:

Turn off the WYSIWYG editor (Users -> Your Profile, bottom check box, uncheck) and paste in the code that YouTube provides.
