How Do I Install the Download?

  • I have three questions, first, do I have to use WordPress blogs to get this to work. I have two blogspot blogs.

    Second, I tried to download the software. After hitting extract, all I can find is a folder that says assets and also a bunch of php files. I have Windows 8. What do I do now? I went to the screen shot and cannot find anything on my computer that looks like the screen shot.

    Third, can I put this software on both blogs?

  • Basically WordPress does the same thing Blogspot does. Only better. So it will only benefit you if you decide to migrate your blogs to WordPress.

    WordPress comes in two flavors. The version that we support here is widely know as self hosted WordPress and requires that you have a web hosting account such as GoDaddy, BlueHost, etc. WordPress will give you complete control over your blog or other type of website with unlimited customization’s depending on your skill level or a hired developers skill level.

    But if you are looking for a hosted solution similar to the Blogger you are accustomed to then you might want to look at the wordpress.com version. It has all the basics for free with some paid add-ons.
