You can use any good text editors like UltraEdit, FAR’s internal edit and so on. You can even use windows’ notepad, with Ctrl-G

    Greetings fellow Canadian:

Yeap, here is the first page ready to go for you: 75 errors.

You can reach it from https://validator.w3.org and just ckeck the options under the validation, like to show source and it will show you where the errors in the generated html are. Let us know if you need any more help.

    Cheers,
    Michael.

Microsoft Word? No, don’t do that – it will cause big problems. Use something like Notepad (a plain text editor). Just work through the validation pages, for example, errors #1 & 2 have to be within the <head profile="https://gmpg.org/xfn/11"> and the closing </head> tags. The validator is pretty good, just go through it, don’t get over-whelmed, when in doubt, search it out! Once you work through a few you’ll get the hang of it – unfortunately you’ll have to dive into XHTML and learn about the mistakes and fix them, I suppose someone could be paid to do it, but that’s not the best way to do it, even if it takes awhile, in the end you’ll know so much and you won’t look back!

Give it a try, read up on problem areas and if you get really stuck, let us know!

    Cheers,
    Michael.
