    Hi,

After starting with an UpdraftPlus restoration, there comes a grey page with the title “UpdraftPlus Restoration: Progress” … the thing is, it does not show any progress but always keeps the same status of this page (in fact, there is no content on this page).

If I look at the directories via ftp i can see, that there is something progressing (as there are the old directories now and they are becoming more of them if I wait a little while).

But still, on the “UpdraftPlus Restoration: Progress” page there is no change. Also after really a long time, there is no sign, if the restoration is still in progress or has already been finished.

    Is this by design?
How do I know, if the restoration is through?

Best regards and thank you in advance
    Markus

    Hi Markus,

This page should update after each section of the backup is restored (or at least after the file backups have been restored, then after the database has been restored). The page does not otherwise update because doing so when different parts of the site are being overwritten could cause issues.

Could you send us a copy of the latest restoration log? This can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the site, accessible via FTP. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.
