How do I know if I can upgrade

  • Hi All.

    I am on 3.01. Is there a way for me to be sure I can upgrade without breaking something (or do I even need to?)?

    Is this something that I would be smart to ask on the paid section for F8 Static?

    one way is to setup a test version of the site – possibly a local version on your own PC/mac using XAMPP / MAMP/ WAMP to set up a web server. You will be able to use this to chech that the backups you make can be restored correctly and you’ll be able to test your upgrade on that for peace of mind before upgrading your real site.
