How do I limit the Header Image which Stretches across the horizontal

  • Dear friends,

    I am trying to change the option of my theme’s header image.
    As you can see on my website, https://www.interview-with-your-consciousness.com/ , the header image stretches horizontally from left to right.
    I would like for it to be a fixed dimension and that’s it.
    I did try to play around with the style.css document and i only progressed to the point where the image stopped from “stretching” but it started to repeat itself in order to fill out the whole area from left to right on the horizontal.

    What could I do to make it neat, something like this for example:
