How do I make a newspaper 4-column block

  • Boldgrid has numerous blocks, but I cannot find a simple one that looks like the traditional four column newspaper with lines between columns and lines between one story in a column and the next. I’ve tried Boldgrid blocks, tables, basic column HTML, a few plugins, but all fall short.

    I would appreciate HTML to accomplish the following

    Four columns – equal width on monitor, two columns on tablet, one on phone
    Vertical lines between columns
    Dividing lines between stories in columns
    Story length can be different for each story, and the next article starts just below
    Able to add new stories by copying the HTML (or some other way)
    Nice option: Each story will have a link to an article. Nice is this is automatic
    Nice option: Category

    I would appreciate advice:

    HTML that I can copy
    Block that I have overlooked
    Plugin that works (we do not have a budget to pay subscriptions) that is WYSIWYG
    Another workaround
    A set of tools options I can add to the toolbar
