How do I make a post always stay at the top?

    I want to stick a welcome\short intro type of post to the top of the first page and have it remain there at all times. I downloaded and installed the Sticky Manager plugin.

    This did do that until the next Blog was posted and it moved the post I wanted stuck to the bottom.

    Maybe sticky isn’t what I want to do in WP. Ideas, suggestions for a rookie would sure be appreciated.

    Get rid of the plugin. Edit the post that you want to use. Under the Publish tab, click on the Visibility link and select “Stick to front page”. Then save your changes.

    Thanks Sticky Manager does work. The dumb rookie made another stupid mistake
