    Hi Guys,

So I am working on this website where I added a header template by downloading it from the template library. I had applied it site-wide and it was working fine.

Then, I had to move the site to a different server so I did an ‘export’ of my homepage (only homepage matters as of now), set-up a fresh copy of WP on the new server and imported the homepage template. Works fine for the homepage but the header is not applied site-wide anymore.

I saved the header section as a fresh ‘header section’ in my template but still can’t find the condition window!

Do I have to download a fresh set of header section/template again to be able to make it site-wide? Or is there any other way?

Same goes for the footer as well!

Any pointers here would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Rajiv

  • Rajiv: Had similar issues, and thought that “conditions” could be changed. A ticket at the time informed me that the conditions were not applicable “retro-actively”.
So while I am not quite clear yet on this topic, and short of experience, I would love it if the “pros” will chime in on this thread, perhaps posting some sort of protocol about “conditions for headers/footers” and how to update/edit them so that changes are applicable site-wide.

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

I hope things have changed for good since then. Otherwise, I see myself creating the same header and footer as afresh so that it can be used site-wide.

Looking forward to hearing from the pros/someone from Team Elementor.

    Hi Jan,

I don’t have any signature as such here, save for my blog’s URL. Let me know if you want me to take that off.
