    What’s the trick to make this actually work?

    I created a service with a category. Then I used the shortcode generator to make a shortcode, plopped it on a page and went to the front end.

    I am unable to actually book the service. I’ve tried several different shortcodes. They all produce a calendar but none of the dates are bookable. If I try the category shortcode it just says there are no bookable services.

    Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

    To enable bookings, you’ll need to create a staff member and assign a service to them. Once this setup is complete, users will be able to book a service as long as there’s a staff member available on the desired date.
