Unfortunately the fields in this form don’t seem to show the user where their cursor is. When I click on a field it does nothing, doesn’t show the user anything at all. It is only when the user starts typing that the field label moves and it shows the user where they are. Is there a way to change this in the UI that I’m missing? Or do I need to dig my fingers in deeper to get this form to assign its .bgtfw-is-active class to a field when it is clicked rather than when it is typed?

Here is my form. In the reply to my review I saw a very bare bones form – I’d love that! How do I get rid of all this extra added interation?

    Hmm, guessing it is BoldGrid.

    Hey @oddible,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I took a look at your form and it looks like the theme is applying some of its styles to the form.

You can control some of the styling that gets applied using the Include Form Styling found in WPForms > Settings > General > Include Form Styling.

In case it helps, I’ve also included our guide with more details on this setting here.

Awesome, thanks, I really appreciate it. Just changing to Base Styling Only solved the problem.
