How do I manually install a theme – via cpanel?

  • Hi,

    When I want to install a theme which is downloaded from another website – do I install it via my cpanel? By going to the particular domain’s directories and by uploading it there to the word press folder? Do I need to unzip it AFTER it’s uploaded to the correct wp folder?

    Can someone give short step-by-step instructions? Big Thanks! ??

  • Hey dude,

    Log in to your WORDPRESS site. Then just go to “Appearance —> Install theme —> Upload theme.

    Thanks, but the theme would be downloaded from woothemes.com so I guess it’s not there? That’s why I asked about the manual installation.
