How do i move or change a posts category?

  • How do i move or change a posts category?

    I run a video blog and lot of the videos i post sometimes are “dead”. id like to be able to mark these dead videos to a “dead videos” category. How do i do this?

  • If you delete a category you are afforded the opportunity to move all the post in that category to a another category.

    Im looking for a way to either;
    1) assign a post im reading a certain tag
    OR
    2)assign a post im reading a certain category

    Anyone know how to do so?

    2.8 don’t have the option to move all the post in a category when deleting it
    how to do it?

    Administration > Posts > Categories

    Delete – This Action deletes the Category. Delete is available as a Bulk Action and an Immediate Action. Note: Deleting a category does not delete the posts in that Category, but the posts that were assigned to the deleted Category are assigned to the Default Category, as defined in the Settings Writing SubPanel. Note that the Default Category cannot be deleted.
