How Do I NoIndex A Parked Domain?

You’ll need to have that domain direct to its own directory if you don’t want it to redirect to anything in your WordPress installation. Then, you’ll also be able to NoIndex it normally.

If you don’t have controls for that in your hosting provider’s control panel, they should be able to help you do this themselves.

But.. I dont want to redirect example.in to example.com.

Because I want pages to be accessed using both example.com and example.in without any redirection.

So was wondering about how to noindex one of them since both domains point to the same folder.

That can’t actually be done, WordPress is designed to only operate at the domain you set via Settings -> General in the blog’s Dashboard.

Also, even if it could be done, that would be considered as duplicate content by Google and would result in a significant search placement penalty on both sites.

Okay, I got it..

Duplicate content is my concern too.. Other option would be to create a clone site at example.in and noindex that..

Instead of cloning, just stick with a redirect. You want people to be able to go to example.in, and that’s fine, but they should only see the site in it’s primary form at example.com, thus a simple redirect will suffice.

Even if NoIndex is applied to example.in, if people link to example.in while the same content exists at the indexed example.com, Google will apply a duplicate content penalty to example.com.
