How do I point my domain to wordpress site

ok so download what files? from where? and change what domain name? and move everything to where? its all not very clear for me

Since it’s localhost, you’ll simply be taking the files from your computer and uploading them to the hosting provider.

As for the question “Change what domain?” in all of those similar steps, you’re changing from localhost to your new domain name.

The files are all of the files in the WordPress directory. Copy those to your hosting provider.

The database is under MySQL on your localhost server.

The instructions are incredibly similar to backing up your installation and restoring it, only you’ll be restoring it on iPage.

Perhaps https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_Backups will be simpler.

About how much of the site have you built and customized on localhost?

i exported the mysql there is no file just a long list of words numbers no database file and the xml file from wordpress
