how do I provide a link to an email address?

    I am trying to provide links for multiple email addresses that were copied and pasted from our previous website. When I try to re-link them, the destination url shows as mailto:the requested email address. When I try the above link after publishing it, the link does not work. Is there a different format for the destination url that I should be using? Or is there something else that is wrong?
