How do I publish my site?

  • 1. I have an old website up and running
    2. I wanted to create a new website using my old domain name
    3. I opened a BlueHost account using old domain name. (I log into WordPress through BlueHost)
    4. Created my site on www.ads-software.com. Did the Yoast thing, I even moved got me EPP from Godaddy (waiting for final transfer).

    My site looks awesome and I’m ready to go live.

    NOW what do I do????

    I can’t figure it out exactly what to do next. I’m pretty sure it involves FTP and CPanel stuff. Do you have any tutorials to help me. Step by step would be awesome.

    No, you did not. You created it someplace, though.

    Is your site on Bluehost now? If so, it should be live and published.

    Okay, now I’m really FREAKED OUT!

    I log into my BlueHost Portal then click on “Log in to WordPress”
    It is in WordPress that I have designed my pages.
    When I view the site from the WordPress dashboard it has a temp domain name.

    So, I’m gonna say “No, my site is not on BlueHost”

    How do I get my WordPress pages to work with/on/upload to my BlueHost domain name?
    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    I think the best way and the fastest would be to call Bluehost and have them help you through these last steps.
