• I have a friend that wants to add pictures to her holiday blog but they are usually 3-4mb in size so won’t upload.

I need them to be able to resize the images to a maximum size (say 600 x 600px) but to complicate matters it needs to be done through WordPress as they will be uploading from different computers.

Have already tried using Resize at Upload Plus and Resize at Upload but they don’t seem to work with v3.0

    Thanks

  • you can resize them with adobe photoshop, or you can use the free photo editing tool at https://www.picnik.com/ or image shack or anything simliar

Thanks polil11 but I did say in my initial post that they need to be done through WordPress.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but, Windows Live Writer makes the file size smaller when it uploads pictures the Post. But that requires that WLW be on the computers that upload your Posts and that might not be possible.
