• After installing the latest updates in the dashboard, my website theme completely changed with a different header and structure of the homepage etc. Is there any way to reference my website from a few days ago that is correct? I’m really frustrated right now because everything changed and all I did was install the latest updates to the theme and plug-ins.
Thank you for any of your help!

  • What you have updated? WordPress or Your theme?

If you have updated your WordPress to the latest version then you can revert back to the previous version through FTP.

Download your previous version from this link https://www.ads-software.com/download/releases/
Create a backup before starting anything.
Then replace the wp-includes and wp-admin directory that’s it.

NOTE: Make sure you have the knowledge of using the FTP client. Otherwise, the better option is to hire someone to do this. It may not cost you too much.

You can ask you host if they have a backup of the day you want.
And hopefully you have learned to make a backup first before making big changes.
