How Do I Remove , 'and comments are closed'?

  • I am trying to remove from my WordPress adventure theme, ‘and comments are closed’. I have tried a couple of WordPress plugins to try to remove that info, no luck, and I have watched 3 or 4 different YouTube videos, no luck. Is it because of the theme I am using, ‘Adventure’? Is there anyone that can help? Thanks so very much for your quick response and help.
