How do I remove color shading from post featured image?

  • Hello,
    is there a CSS line or something else I missed to remove the automatic shading which happens when I show the featured image of a post in a list of posts? It grays out the image. I can change the duotone, but that doesn’t help. Can I just get rid of the shading entirely?

    Hi @tevko2 – With the Gutenberg plugin active, you should see an option to remove the overlay on featured images:

    If you prefer not to activate Gutenberg, you are also welcome to wait for WordPress 6.1, which will be released in the next few weeks.
