How do I remove excerpt from slider?

I’m using the slider that is built into the theme Sparkling

You can use code like this to remove excerpt from slider:

.flex-caption .excerpt {
    display: none;
}

You can add this code to Appearance – Theme Options – Other – Custom CSS.

Here is how you can remove link from slider and you can done it via Child Theme. Sample Sparkling Child Theme is available here.

This doesn’t work forme and I’m using childtheme. Please help!

Are you sure the code is not working, I checked your site and all I can see is title in the slider https://screencast.com/t/D7thSHVh. Is that what you want removed or I am missing something?

Maybe it is just caching, try to clear browser cache and check for changes.

Sure thing! Since the theme has it’s own custom CSS tab you can add the code there, it is located in Appearance >> Theme Options >> Other >> Custom CSS

.flex-caption h2.entry-title {
display: none;
}

This should remove the title.
