  • Try setting the HOME page in the Settings as your home page.

WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading
Change the “Front page displays”, and select your HOME page in the “Front Page” drop down.

    Just to confirm:
You have created a page, which you have called Home
and you would like this page, to be your home page, and not the page currently showing?

In which case have you followed the steps found:

    Hi ??

I actually have the same problem as andreacalle – and I cannot see that it can be resolved by the ways you describe above.

If you look at https://econscribi.com you will actually see https://econscribi.com/front-page.

I just want it to display https://econscribi.com! However, if I look at the page in WordPress, I don’t see that the page is called anything else than econscribi.com (and actually the page title is later changed from “Front Page” to “Welcome to eConscribi” but it does not make any difference).

The page is selected as a Static Front Page in Settings.

    Can anybody help me, please?

    Thanks ??

    Hi,

I fixed this by using this plugin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/page-links-to/

I allows you to set a custom link for pages. Then you can set https://www.mysite.com/ as your link for HOME

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Pandorasan,

Thank you very much for your answer.

I actually found out that this was caused by a setting in the language plugin I installed – and as soon as I changed this, it was fixed.

But I hope that your answer can benefit somebody else ??

    Thanks ??
