How do I remove large image at bottom of home page?

  • Hi there,

    I am still playing around with this theme & wordpress in general…but one thing I have been unable to figure out is how to remove this random large image at the bottom of my home page. It is from one of my post but I don’t remember choosing it and it just seems weird there and doesn’t make much sense. Any tips?

    Sounds like your Large / Highlight Post is enabled. Please go to Appearance > Customize > Front Page > Large / Highlight Post to turn it off.

    Yeah, that’s what I assumed too…but I turned the highlight post off and the picture that remains is some soup picture that was not even part of the highlighted post I’d had on there…

    ???

    Hey @mpalmer78, it looks like the soup photo is part of a Text Widget assigned to your Footer Row 3 sidebar. Please check out Appearance > Customize > Widgets and see if there’s a Text Widget that you can drag out to remove.
