How do I remove site name from H1 Tags

  • Hi there,

    I have a small problem, basically the name of my website, appears in the H1 tags of all posts and pages, which is not great for seo.

    Does anybody know how to remove them, so that I can put my own H1 tags in?

    Why not? You have more than 1 H1 tag on a page (providing you don’t do something silly and use H1 everywhere).

    If you really want to remove the H1 tags in the header, you’ll need to edit your theme’s header.php file and replace them with p tags. But then you’ll almost certainly have to amend your theme’s stylesheet to take the changes into account.
