How do I remove the Comments section in the Imbalance theme?

Quick and dirty:
imbalance\single.php line #28-30
Just remove this part:

<div id="comments">
	<?php comments_template(); ?>
     </div>

You can also delete line #25 which contains the rss comment and trackback link.
Keep in mind that all changes are gone when you update the theme. Consider using a child theme:
