How do I remove the generic footer?

    I’m new to WP and wanted to remove the footer that says:

    Proudly powered by WordPress | Theme: Edin by WordPress.com.

    My site is circa.tv — any help is appreciated, thank you!

  • In footer.php, you want to remove the code that starts like this:
    <a href="<?php echo esc_url( __( 'https://www.ads-software.com/'

    By removing or editing that code you will change your footer text.
