How do I remove this notification?

I’m sorry about that notice not being able to be dismissed permanently, but I think we can change that. I created a ticket for it here –
https://github.com/BoldGrid/boldgrid-backup/issues/377 It’s a relatively minor thing, and I think we can get it included in our next patch release within a week.

I’ll touch base here soon with an update.

We just released Total Upkeep 1.14.4. When you upgrade to this latest version, the backups notice on the updates page is now permanently dismissible by clicking that “x” in the upper right (as seen in this ticket).
