How do I reset wordpress back to a clean slate?
-
My issue doesn’t necessarily revolve around “fixing” wordpress itself, because it’s doing its services perfectly.
This issue is just me being stupid and I didn’t know where this question was suitable to place outside of the most face-value title of trying to fix my mistake
How do I reset my wordpress site back to a clean slate?
Me and my son have been working on a site together and I installed and made a bunch of changes in development thinking I knew what I was doing.
Well, long story-short the website is spaghetti and It’s got to a point where trying to retrace the steps has become more difficult than trying to work past it, I need to figure out how to just reset or re-install the build and wipe away all the data in the sit so it could just be a clean slate again–a factory reset, if you will.
My issue In trying to figure out how to do this without having to buy a whole ‘nother domain or resetting the entire site process from scratch (propogating, purchasing SSLs, cpanel, etc)
Does anyone know how to do this?
