How do I Run Box View Updater?

    Hello Ian,

    Sorry for the hassle, but I am a little confused?

    I updated to MDocs 3.0.6 today and all seems fine. When I was prompted to update to “Box View”, I was not quite ready so I selected the “later” option.

    I thought I read in the dialogue box that it said I could run the updater at a later time from the settings menu?

    Now I can’t find the “update box view” control?

    Currently I cannot preview items. The dialogue says: “This field is required”

    When I select the Memphis Docs item from the Admin area, I see the new Documents area. I assume I use the OPTIONS > SETTINGS path but I cannot see any reference to Box View or Updater?

    Can you advise where I do this?

    Hi Bill,

    Click on options the click the link Run 3.0 Patch

    That will start the process.

    Hello Ian,

    There is no link visible for “Run 3.0 Patch” ?

    Thanks for the report Bill, I’ll have an update that will allow you to rerun the box view updater at anytime, stay tuned.

    Hi Ian,

    I updated to Version 3.0.8 but there still does not appear to be any way to run the updater?

    Can you advise?

    Hello Bill,

    I haven’t gotten to that yet 3.0.8 was a critical update that couldn’t wait and didn’t contain a working box view updated.

    In the mean time you can update your previews manually in the drop down menu for every file. Just click the update preview button.

    I know this is not optimal but I am working on a solution.
