    Hello,

I need to set the price levels for users.

E.g. Unregistered users will see price category 1 (current price), but registered users will see price category 2 (discounted price).

I did not find anything like this in plugin settings, but you definitely have some extensions.

But I did not find it (or could not find it).

    Please advise

    Thank you

OK. I wrote the authors of the Duplicator, perhaps they will help me. (and propose solutions)

I just wanted to say about the group of users.

Users will not only be registered and unregistered.

Even registered users will be divided into several groups, but all will have customer privileges.

That’s why I installed this simple plugin.

So I wanted to know if you can see if the user is registered?
And if so, which group is included?

    Thank you

    Hello,

I’ve found the best to use a plugin.

It allows very detailed backup and recovery, including certain files and files modified after a certain date.

Is that exactly what you wanted?

    To summarize both previous reports.

Because the plugin just extends the account settings that are already there, it’s probably not a problem to get the group name.

This will match the tax class name that will apply to the products.

I do not know how exactly you would imagine a partial backup, but the plugin has a very detailed backup setting, so it would certainly be possible.

I would just like to ask about product settings.

There is a possibility to allow tax and there can be added tax classes.

Did I understand that several tax classes can be used for the product, but only one is always used?

    Please advise

    Thank you

    1. You would need to backup/restore only a few files from the plugin.
    2. Not really – multiple tax classes can apply to each and every product.
    3. Getting the group name is not the issue – the issue would be rewriting the logic for calculating the tax.
I’ve consulted the Core Development Team and this solution will really affect your shop’s functionality. I’d advise you to create a separate plugin that would add a fixed amount to the cart/products depending on the user role.

    1. Ok. It is not a problem.
    2. Yes. I have to take one product after another and add all the tax classes to it.
    3. I’m sorry but I do not know the php very well. So it would take me a long time and I do not have that much time.
3.1 Is there no such plugin anymore?
3.2 What do you suppose to affect business functions?

3.1 There is – Price by Role. But you stated previously that you would not be interested in it.
3.2 Changing the way taxes work would impair your experience with the plugin. Even if not – you would not be able to update the tax part of Jigoshop eCommerce in the future, since it would be restored to your custom setting.

I understand that, but if there are no problems with the functionality of the eshop, I will certainly take the risk.
Otherwise I would have to change the plugin, which I definitely do not want.

    Hello,

To reduce our conversation. I need to complete it as soon as possible.

If you still have login information for a temporary account on my site, you can edit it directly.

To sum it up, you need to get the name of the group to which the currently logged-in user is assigned, and add a tax class (of the same name) to the product prices.

If the user is not logged in or is not in any group, then the DEFAULT tax class is used.

    Please

    Thank you

    Hello,

Unfortunately, custom code modifications are not a part of our free support. This would fall under the “custom development” category.

    Thread Starter michalrama

    (@michalrama)

And can not at least write the modified code here?

This modification is a custom development service. I cannot provide users with paid services for free.

    Thread Starter michalrama

    (@michalrama)

    How much does it cost?

The cost of a custom development service depends on the amount of working hours required to finish the project. Every custom development request gets sent – after initial estimation – to the sales dept. and then returns with the final cost estimation. To be honest – I’d wager that the Price by Role extension might be cheaper.

    Hello,

I’m thinking about buying extension for the price by role.

But I think that for someone who wants to buy only 1 license, the price is very high.

When I buy 5 licenses, I will pay for just little over 300 CZK for 1 license.

For 25 licenses, the price is even lower. For 1 license I will pay less than 100 CZK.

I know this is a quantity discount. Still, the price per 1 license (almost 1100 CZK) is illogically high.

I do not want to negotiate here, but would not you be so kind and have the price for 1 license at least reduced?

    Please

    Thank you
