How do I set up a trackback link?

    Hi – I’m a blogging newbie…

    I’m using 1.5 with the WordPressDefault 1.5 template by Michael Heilman. There is no link for trackbacks for my posts, though, and I’d like to offer one. How do I do this?

  • Go to the following page and read the whole thing between the post content and the comment form. The trackback link is already there.

    Wow – thanks for the blazingly fast response. I see on some blogs, on the main page where it lists the number of comments, it also lists the number of trackbacks. How will I know if anyone has pinged me?

    It will show up with the rest of regular comments.

    Thank you very much – so I don’t have to do anything. I notice that the url is very simple compared to other trackback URLs – I suppose it just references the post, and the rest is all about the POST arguments…
