• I’m relatively computer savvy, but I am far from a programmer.I am looking for any help in this situation, I want to set up a sports blog, and I feel that word-press would be the best site for me. Could anyone help me out with this?? I am in dire need of assistance.

  • Usually when you install WordPress on your computer, it is for development and testing of your live site. You can serve a web site from your computer, but it is not recommended. Your computer would have to be on all the time, connected to the internet all the time, and be configured securely enough that the public can’t hack into your private files.

I think for a blog there’s no need to install wp on a computer.
The basic process for setting up wp depends on the hosting provider. After you’ll have one, it’s quite easy to do it with assistant from specific tutorials.
Do you have a hosting provider already?
